Terms & Conditions

  1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.

  2. Entry is open to residents of Australia. Entrants aged under 18 years must have parental/guardian approval to enter. Employees and their immediate families of the Promoter or United service stations, their agencies and venues/outlets associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.

  3. To enter, entrants must during the Promotional Period:

    (a) Purchase, any one of the following Daily Juice products:

    i. Daily Juice Chilled Orange 375 ml
    ii. Daily Juice Chilled Orange Pulpfree 375ml
    iii. Daily Juice Chilled Juicer's Choice 375ml
    iv. Daily Juice Five Fruits Screw Cap 500 ml
    v. Daily Juice Apple Screw Cap 500 ml
    vi. Daily Juice Breakfast Pop Top 500 ml
    vii. Daily Juice Orange Mango Screw Cap 500ml
    viii. Daily Juice Orange NAS Screw Cap 500 ml
    ix. Daily Juice Orange Pulp Free Pop Top 500 ml
    x. Daily Juice Orange 1lt
    xi. Daily Juice Orange 2lt
    xii. Daily Juice Orange Pulp Free 2lt

    (Promotional Products) from a participating United service station; and

    (b) either:

    (i) (Web Entry) log on to the website www.dailyjuice.com.au and fully complete the online entry form by providing all information required by the Promoter; or

    (ii) (SMS Entry) send an SMS message to 1998 2782 with the following information in the following order with spaces between each item:

    (A) FIRST: the last five digits of the Promotional Product’s barcode;

    (B) SECOND: the entrant’s first name and surname; and

    (C) THIRD: the entrant’s postcode.

    Example SMS Entry: 34567 John Smith 2107

    SMS cost will not exceed 55 cents including GST. Entrants must retain their original product barcode as proof of purchase and to validate any and all entries made. SMS entry is only open to consumers with a compatible mobile phone connected to a service provider which permits premium text messaging to the promotional SMS number. SMS entries submitted via the Internet are not valid and will not be accepted. A return SMS will be sent to each entrant who submits a valid SMS entry to confirm receipt of their entry. Individuals can submit multiple entries. There is a limit of four entries per person, per mobile number (for SMS entries) and per household (for Web Entries) per day, and only one entry may be made per Promotional Product purchase. There is a limit of one prize per entrant.

  4. All entries are deemed to be received by the Promoter at the time of receipt into the Promoter’s database and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. SMS entries from a mobile telephone not connected to an Australian based network with premium SMS are not valid and will not be accepted. The mobile phone number from which the entrant sends the SMS Entry must be owned by the entrant. The Promoter may require a winner to validate their entry by showing proof of ownership of the mobile telephone number. The only acceptable proof of ownership will be an original invoice in the name of the entrant or an original letter on the service provider’s letterhead confirming the entrant’s ownership. If an entrant is unable to provide proof of ownership of the mobile telephone number within 14 days of request by the Promoter, the entry will be treated as void and the Prize will be treated as an unclaimed Prize

  5. The promotion commences at 00.01 AEDT on 30/11/2011 and closes at 23.59 AEDT on 03/01/2012 (“Promotional Period”).

  6. There will be a total of 300 Prizes awarded randomly throughout the Promotional Period (60 per week). The Promoter will randomly determine 300 winning times during the Promotional Period (60 per week) (Winning Time). A prize will be awarded to the first valid entry received at or after a particular Winning Time.

  7. Prize consists of a $100 EFTPOS gift card. Total RRP value of prizes = $30,000. All taxes (excluding GST) which may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The prize is subject to Edge Loyalty System Pty Ltd’s (ABN 96 138 299 288) (Edge Loyalty) terms and conditions.

  8. All provisional winners will be notified immediately by either:

    (a) return SMS – for SMS Entries; or

    (b) on screen notification at time of entry – for Web Entries.

    All provisional winners will be required to send the Promoter their original product barcode/s for all entries received from the winner as proof of purchase, to a reply paid address (as stated in the SMS or on screen notification sent to provisional winners) to verify the validity of their entry and their prize win. If a provisional winner does not provide their original product barcode, their entry will be deemed to be invalid. If a prize is won by a person under the age of 18, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s parent or guardian on the winner’s behalf.

  9. If necessary, a second chance draw will be held at 12:00 on 04/04/2012 403/62 Beach Street, Port Melbourne, Victoria in order to distribute any unclaimed prizes. All valid entries received during the Promotional Period (other than those relating to a winner who is not entitled to a Prize under these conditions) will be eligible to win an unclaimed prize. The first valid entry randomly drawn for each unclaimed prize will win that prize. Winners will be notified by email and mail. If the winner of an unclaimed prize entered the promotion via SMS Entry, then they must provide the Provider with their address when contacted via telephone to enable the Promoter to notify the winner in writing.

  10. Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding - no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then the Promoter may (where necessary with the approval of the relevant lottery authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.

  11. If any prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any written directions from the lottery authorities.

  12. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address and any other information from entrants, including in the form of photographic identification material, relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information, conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or who is otherwise involved in any way in manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion, including but not limited to, by using techniques designed to avoid payment of call costs or by using techniques designed to avoid purchasing the Promotion Products, or by making a Prize claim with stolen, forged, mutilated or tampered with Promotion Products, product barcodes, by submitting an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions.

  13. The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Edge Loyalty. The Promoter is not responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner as a result of the conduct of Edge Loyalty or otherwise as a result of the winner accepting and/or using a prize. except for any loss, damage or injury which is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or which the Promoter otherwise cannot exclude by law. The Gift Cards are not transferable or refundable. Lost or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or refunded. The Gift Card cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or used to withdraw cash at an ATM or EFTPOS facility. The Gift Card cannot be reloaded with additional funds. The Gift Card can be used for purchases anywhere in Australia where EFTPOS is accepted by selecting the savings button and entering the allocated PIN number. The Gift Card can be used for more than one transaction. The Gift Card expires twelve (12) months from the date of issue. Any unused balance existing after the Gift Card expires will not be refunded or credited, nor will any compensation be provided. When the cost of a purchase exceeds the Gift Card balance, the cardholder will be required to pay the difference between the purchase price and the Gift Card balance.   14. Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, image and/or voice in the event that they are a winner in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.

  15. Details from entries will be collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this promotion and making the appropriate selection on the entry form entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant. The Promoter acts as agent for and on behalf of LD&D Milk Pty Limited, LD&D Foods Pty Limited, Berri Pty Limited, Butterfields Specialty Foods Pty Ltd, Dairy Farmers Pty Limited, Dairy Vale Foods Pty Ltd and QUD Pty Ltd in accordance with the agency arrangements detailed more specifically by calling the Promoter’s consumer enquiry centre. You expressly acknowledge the appointment of the Promoter by the companies listed above as agent of those companies. All acts by the Promoter in connection with this agreement are acts taken on behalf of the companies listed above as agent of those companies.
